Allyship & Cultural Competency in Black Birth Work

Racial disparities are a major problem in the birth field, especially when it comes to the Black community. Deaths are high and a lack of culturally competent support plays a huge role in that. We need more culturally competent professionals to provide care, use their voices, and their privilege to change things. This mini course is primarily geared towards doulas but can benefit almost any non-Black person who is doing birth work. This short course just barely touches the surface.
