Woman's Choice Charitable Association
Woman's Choice Charitable Association is a 501 (c) 3 organization that was established in September 2017.
Our mission is to serve the community by providing free/low cost services, products, and events for women and children.
We primarily focus on services/products that focus on pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and diapering. With a heavy focus on healthy pregnancy and birth outcomes for Black women.
Stay tuned for upcoming offerings, opportunities, and fundraisers.
We are super excited to announce that our grant application for the pilot of our Community Doula Program, through Connecticut Community Foundation has been approved by the Women's Giving Circle!
The grant for $7,500.00 will allow us to provide free support for Black, pregnant women in Waterbury. Dollars will help support the postpartum period, in addition to childbirth and breastfeeding education.
For women who have other risk factors or are low income, who do not identify as Black - we are offering sliding scale service fees based on income. We want to do our best to serve as many families as we can, with cost being a minimal concern.
WCCA is so grateful for this opportunity to make a difference, in such a huge way.

We would like to thank Hie for donating diaper bags for our baby package initiative. Clients who are accepted thru our community doula program, will be eligible to receive care packages that include a car seat, diaper bag, and other baby essentials - upon completing our educational classes. (Bags and other supplies may vary by availability)
