Childbirth Educator

The Childbirth Educator Course is designed to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively educate expectant parents about the childbirth process. This comprehensive course covers a wide range of topics related to pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, equipping professionals with the expertise to support and empower expectant parents as they navigate the journey of childbirth. There are no prerequisites required, but it's strongly recommended that you have experience as a birth and postpartum doula, along with newborn care experience. This course does not provide you with a set curriculum to use for your classes. However, it does provide some suggestions for what to include, places to buy curriculum and supplies, along with considerations for class formats and pricing. For transparency, this course is mostly reading. If reading is not your thing, please take that into consideration. You're allowed 2yrs to complete the course. The 104 weeks is not the amount of time it takes to finish.
