Placenta Encapsulation

Take charge of your postpartum experience by having your placenta encapsulated!

I have been providing placenta services since 2015. I have also trained over 1,000 professionals via my placenta training course.

The placenta has been part of postpartum rituals for hundreds of years. While placenta preparation has become more public over the last 10-years, it certainly isn't new!

What Do We Know?

The placenta is a facilitator organ. This means that aside from drugs and alcohol, the placenta does not store waste. Think of the placenta as a recycler. Waste will be removed via the mother's blood, rather than staying within the placenta.

We also know that the placenta is rich in stem cells, iron, and vitamins that can help positively impact your postpartum journey.

Many people who consume their placenta report having stable mood, increased energy, healthy milk supply, reduced loss of postpartum hair loss or quicker regrowth, and more.

How is it Prepared?

The most common method of preparation is encapsulation. Your placenta is cleaned, sometimes steamed, dehydrated, and then ground into a fine powder for capsules to be filled.

The placenta can also be made into smoothies, chocolates, tinctures, and even candy! Flavored capsules are available as well.

There's something for even the most uncertain bellies.

What's the Cost?

Dollar Bills

Your placenta service will range anywhere from $175 to as much as $700. It really depends on where you're located and what options you select.

What About Non-Edible Options?

You can celebrate and honor your placenta with a range of beautiful keepsakes.

Prints, umbilical cord keepsakes, salves, oils, jewelry, keychains, and even just the dehydrated placenta powder for your garden. The possibilities are amazing!

How Sanitary is This Work?

Carrying Cleaning Supplies

Safety is my priority. My placenta workspace is secluded in a private area. I am certified in bloodborne pathogen work and food handling. I never work on more than one placenta at a time, to avoid cross contamination. Reusable supplies and equipment are sanitized with a hospital grade virucide for your safety.
